Angela is a graduate of DeSales
University where she received a B.A. in Theatre: Acting/Directing Track. She studied
dance at Touch of Class Dance Studio for ten years, and continued her dance training
in college taking as many ballet, modern, and tap classes as possible that would
fit into her busy theatrical schedule. Angela has been performing in the Delaware
County since she was ten years old,and since graduation has been performing professionally
throughout the Philadelphia area. Some of her favorite credits include:

with Oklahoma at Media Theatre
Angela was also recently hired to be a performer on The Spirit of Philadelphia
Cruise Line where she will perform shows weekly. Throughout this past year, Angela
had the privilege of teaching ballet/modern, hip-hop and tap classes to over sixty
sixth grade students at the Gateway School for the Performing Arts in Reading
P.A. She also was a substitute dance teacher for several classes at the Institute
of the Arts, in Wyomissing P.A. Along with performing and teaching, Angela has
also choreographed for many different dance productions and theatres in and around
the Delaware County. She choreographed for several productions of Dance Troupe
at Upper Darby Summer Stage, has been the Dance Instructor/Choreographer for Camp
Media Theatre for two summers, she choreographed a production of Children of Eden,
for Narberth Theatre, and also choreographed the Barrymore nominated production
of Camelot at the Media Theatre in 2005. Angela attributes much of her success
to "hard work" and "dedication" and she is truly excited to
share her love of dance and performance with all of her students here at Calabrese
Center for Dance! |
