Don
Nee started dancing at the age of 12 doing all of the popular dances of the time
and continued from there to study many forms of dance. Among these are ballet,
tap, jazz, modern, jitterbug, swing, disco, hustle, hip-hop, rock-n-roll dancing,
country line dancing and ballroom dancing. During the past 35 years,
Mr. Don’s credits include many performances at area schools and malls, universities
and festivals throughout the Delaware Valley. Other highlights include the Bicentennial
Celebration at Elfreth’s Alley, The Philadelphia Auto Show, The Opera Company
of Philadelphia, Taylor Hospital’s Annual Gala Fundraiser, The Mummers Show
of Shows, The Phantom Fountain, The William Penn Award Celebration held in the
Ballroom Atop the Bellevue, excerpts from the Nutcracker on AM Philadelphia and
Captain Noah. Mr. Don has performed professionally for many area companies corporate
functions i.e. CIGNA and Bell Atlantic to name a few. One of Mr. Don’s most
notable achievements was dancing the lead male role in the Valley Forge and Westbury
Long Island Music Fair’s Annual production of the Nutcracker for over 20
years. Since Valley Forge Music Fair’s closing in 1996, Mr. Don continued
to perform in the Westbury Music Fair in New York. |
